Create a responsible farming community in Haiphong
Vietnam has a rich agriculture background and future potential with the growth of vegetables and fruit. However, due to the intense use of pesticides, many local people do not trust the quality of the vegetables that are for sale. However, by introducing new techniques within a responsible farming approach, the use of pesticides can be reduced and eliminated.
In order to stimulate local farmers to produce in the right way without the use of pesticides, Together-Vietnam is supporting knowledge transfer via experienced partners and will assist to create a buying community with its companies for responsible farming proceeds in order to motivate farmers to produce in the right way.
The cooperation with the local farmers will include capacity building and trainings for new techniques to the farmers. Food baskets of responsible proceeds of the farms will be distributed or sold to the employees and members of our community of companies.
